As a food business operator, maintaining good relations and taking care of your customers is an important and responsible duty towards your customers. People can be allergic or intolerant to many different foods or food ingredients due to presence of allergens (agents causing allergies).

European Union law stipulates that only the use of 14 specific food allergens in producing or preparing a food (including beverages) must be declared. As a part of new legal requirement all food businesses using or handling the following food allergens are required to declare the use of food allergens in food products (including beverages) whether pre-packed or non pre-packed.

Iviand.com has developed a comprehensive allergen management solution which aims at compliance on the above said legislation through a software that houses a database of the commonly used ingredients in the industry. The objective is to provide the features in our software that can automatically identify the allergens on a food ingredient used in a recipe and can collate the allergen data in various ingredients used in the creation of a recipe.

The task here is simplified as the food business can create and manage their own recipe in the software. A food business can create their recipes in the software and the same recipe information along with allergen information and calorific value and even food composition can be made available at the point of sale with our allergen data incorporated android tab based mobile / stationary software.
This software can be customised to be incorporated with any existing point of sale system or facility management systems. This process saves huge time and effort at the end of various food business operators who will end up spending too much time identifying and declaring allergen information

This is cloud based system and this can be sync with various user systems / tab/ point of sale system within an operational environment. Tab based point of sale does not need to be online always and only need to be sync at intervals as decided in advance.
